Hey family, Easter was great I can't wait to tell you more about it
later in the email.
Since we're are on the south eastern boarder of our mission we often
have been having weird situations with the Scottsdale side of town.
Our bishop lives a quarter mile out of the mission and we just got a
new ward mission leader who also doesn't live in the mission and
that's along with a few of our other members in the ward because the
stake boundary was chanced a while back.
One of the member families
also have a friend who lives in Scottsdale that started coming to
church but we were directed to let the other mission teach her.
After a month the missionaries in Scottsdale finally stopped by to
set up a time to teach her. Mean while the whole month she came to
church in our ward and got to know people and make new friends. And
the night came for the missionaries to come and teach her and the
missionaries forgot!! So we decided they had their chance so we're
gunna teach here and she's gunna be our investigator. So we taught her
and set a date for her to be baptized on April 9th which is two weeks
away!! So it's gunna be great. Her name is Shelby looking forward to
all that.
A funny thing yesterday we had a Easter program in the ward with all
the primary which is only a few kids unfortunately. Running springs
primary is like a stakes primary compared to this one. And the rest of
the ward sang and stuff. And right in the middle of it all the lights
went out. Everyone used their phones to leave and turns out a car
crashed into a electric pole ore box and a a couple neighborhoods went
out. We saw the car after wards and it caught on fire and was torched.
We had a few investigators there for their first time. That
surprised them quite a bit.
It was a good Easter. Miss you guys love
you we had short time to write today but I can't remember what else
happened we had few good street contacts. Farewell intell next Monday
love you.
